GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead a fast-paced convenience store in Johnson City, TN. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach a team, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining stock, merchandising, and a clean store environment.

The role requires open availability (weekends/holidays, second or third shifts), 21+ years old, and English proficiency with basic math.

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Food Safety Certification required or obtainable.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Topshelf Manager Training in Tennessee is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
• Provide leadership that motivates the team to excel.
