Job summary

GPM Investments LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our high-energy convenience store in Missouri. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, run the register, and coach a team to deliver exceptional customer service.

The role requires stepping in as acting manager during absences and managing inventory, scheduling, and deposits. Open availability is a must, with weekends, holidays, and second or third shifts typical.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• English with basic math skills.
• Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when needed.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
• Provide leadership feedback to motivate the team.
• Other duties as assigned.
