Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our high-energy convenience store in Virginia. You’ll support the Store Manager in daily operations, run the register with accuracy, and lead a team focused on exceptional customer service on weekends and holidays.

You will manage scheduling, inventory, and merchandising while stepping in as acting manager when needed. The role requires open availability and a Food Safety Certification (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• Ability to support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Capable of running the register and assisting customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing customer-service team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to stay fully stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and store deposits.
• Provide feedback and leadership to drive excellence.
• Must have (or obtain) Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily cash, deposits, and financial oversight.
• Provide constructive feedback to boost team performance.
