Sizzling Platter LLC in Midlothian, VA is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and team leadership. The role covers front- and back-of-house duties, with coaching, guest service excellence, and hands-on supervision during shifts.

You will help with hiring, training, and ensuring food quality and safety while upholding company standards in a fast-paced environment. Eligibility for overtime applies; evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Lead shifts by directing team members and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and support to Crew Members and Shift Leads.
• Deliver and model excellent guest service; resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding of team members.
• Ensure product quality, food safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, deposits, and reporting.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and stock management.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and all applicable laws.
• Step into operational roles (front-of-house and back-of-house) as needed.
