GPM Investments’ Roadrunner Markets in Asheville, NC is hiring an Assistant Manager for Store 6048. Location: 491 Sardis Rd. This full-time role requires open availability, including weekends and holidays, with second or third shifts likely.

You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach staff, hire/train, and step in as acting manager when needed. Expect weekly pay, a monthly bonus potential, and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• Must be willing to work second or third shifts.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning and stocking tasks.
• Fluent English and basic math skills.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Must have (or obtain) Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Operate the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Assist with hiring, training, and leading a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock full.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Handle daily cash, deposits, and store financials.
• Provide leadership that drives excellence.
