Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for Store 17384 located at 13801 Providence Rd in Weddington, NC. Open availability is a must; you should expect to work weekends, holidays, and primarily second or third shifts.

You will run the register, coach staff, hire/train and lead a high-performing team, and step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off. You will also handle inventory, ordering, merchandising, cash handling, and daily financials to keep the store energized

Qualifications

• Open Availability: weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
• Must have a valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance for bank deposits.
• Physical Readiness: comfortable with cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, and maintaining outside areas like pumps.
• Minimum Age 18+ years old
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Certification: Food Safety Certification (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Run the register and assist customers with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store fully stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms, trash areas, and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership that motivates your team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
