Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC invites you to join our high-energy convenience store as an Assistant Manager on multiple shifts. You will support the Store Manager, supervise a fast-paced team, handle cash, and ensure excellent customer service on weekends and holidays.

You will lead by example, train staff, manage inventory and merchandising, and step in as acting manager when needed. A Food Safety Certification and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Open availability, weekends and holidays.
• Must have Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain.
• Reliable transportation: valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store fully stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store—including restrooms, trash areas, and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership that motivates your team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
