Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Texas is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily drive-in operations and staff development. You will help train employees, uphold quality, and ensure a clean, safe environment for guests.

Responsibilities include leading team members, scheduling, inventory control and facilitating a positive customer experience. A strong communicator with problem-solving skills is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 6 months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or 1 year entry-level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication, basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, monitor and coach Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to meet service standards.
• Adhere to employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitor staffing, inventory and food cost; adjust as needed.
• Complete weekly inventory and records.
• Assist in administrative duties and documentation.
• Reinforce customer service focus and guest satisfaction.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and help resolve complaints.
