Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in day-to-day drive-in operations. You will lead Team Members, train staff, and ensure food quality, safety, and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires flexible hours, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task and solve problems while upholding SONIC's standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Excellent communication and basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy once directions are given; capable of multi-tasking and solving problems.
• Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns employees to ensure service standards.
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory levels and food cost control; completes weekly inventory.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties and maintains documentation.
• Reinforces customer service and responds to guest requests promptly.
