Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running daily drive-in operations and ensuring quality food, safety, and guest satisfaction. You’ll train and supervise team members, manage staffing, inventories, and administrative duties to maintain excellent service.

Ideal candidates bring prior restaurant management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year of entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coaches Team/Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs drive-in restaurant employees to meet operational standards.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory, and food cost controls.
• Completes weekly inventory and maintains records.
