Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Florida is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily drive-in operations, training team members, and ensuring quality food, cleanliness and safety. You will help create a positive guest experience and uphold our brand standards.

The role requires leadership, flexibility for nights and weekends, and the ability to manage shifts and inventory while coaching staff to deliver fast, friendly service.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management (QSR) or one year retail management experience.
• Strong communication, math, reading and computer skills.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to follow appearance and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coaches Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops to meet standards.
• Manages daily drive-in restaurant operations and staffing needs.
• Adheres to and enforces employee policies and practices.
• Performs opening and closing duties.
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory and food cost; completes weekly inventory.
• Assists in administrative duties and documentation.
• Reinforces customer service focus and guest satisfaction.
• Responds to guest requests and resolves complaints with professionalism.
