Job Summary

Assistant Manager (AM), Restaurants is responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers with an entrepreneurial, sales-driven spirit for the company. A key priority includes assisting the GM in the daily operation of the restaurant. Under the direction of the GM, this position will also be responsible for maintaining inventories, cash control, restaurant appearance and completing daily paperwork. Candidates should be able to strategically recruit, train and develop a productive store team whose primary focus is promoting our brand while offering exceptional customer service. The AM should inspire and encourage teamwork towards successfully achieving sales goals, upholding daily operations and most importantly, create a fun and energized environment!

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers, respond to complaints, and solicit feedback. Coach team to maintain high customer service standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inspection-ready facility, complying with health and safety standards.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and ensure high quality of food preparation and service.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing staff to meet operational standards.
• Manage inventories as if they are cash, report variances promptly, and ensure storage areas are organized and labeled.
• Support sales goals through setting individual targets, contests, promotions, and executing marketing activities.
• Assist in scheduling to ensure proper staffing and coordinate daily activities.
• Ensure proper cash handling, credit processing, and safety procedures are followed; report shortages over $10.
• Maintain compliance with brand standards, pass inspections, analyze performance trends, and develop improvement plans.
