Job summary

Northwest Restaurants Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Wilson, NC to support the Restaurant General Manager by running efficient shifts and upholding Yum Brand standards.

The candidate will own and guide duties of Team Members and Shift Managers, oversee inventory and financial accountability, and ensure safe, high-quality food and a welcoming environment for staff and guests. A positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years supervisory experience with P&L responsibility
• Basic personal computer literacy
• Must pass background check and drug test
• Must have reliable transportation
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Run great work shifts and ensure GMs standards are met
• Oversee team members and shift managers to complete duties; manage inventory and financial accountability

The Assistant General Manager supports the Restaurant General Manager by running great work shifts and meeting YUM Brand standards. QualificationsJob Requirements and Essential Functions

• High School Diploma or GED, College or University Degree preferred
• 1-3 years supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility
• Basic personal computer literacy
• Strong preference for internal promote form Shift Manager position
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must pass background check criteria and drug test
• Must have reliable transportation
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping during 80% of shift time
