Pelican Brewing Company in Yachats, Oregon seeks an Assistant Manager to lead the neighborhood pub’s front- and back-of-house operations. This hands-on role partners with the General Manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences while upholding Pelican’s standards.

You will supervise daily operations, manage service quality, and ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies. A strong hospitality focus and team leadership are essential.

Position Title: ASSISTANT MANAGER- Yachats, Oregon

The Assistant Manager joins our leadership team in advancing the vision and ensuring Pelican Brewing Company's core values are consistently reflected throughout the operation. Reporting to the General Manager, this position is responsible for leading all aspects of a Pelican Brewing Company Neighborhood Pub. This position will serve as a hybrid manager, bridging duties and responsibilities between the front and back of house. The Assistant Manager serves as a hands-on operator who actively works alongside the team in front-of-house, back-of-house, and administrative functions to deliver exceptional guest experiences and strong business results.

Operations

• Direct and participate in all aspects of daily operations, including guest service, food preparation, beer service, cash handling, inventory management, and facility maintenance.
• Work side‑by‑side with team members in both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house roles as business demands require.
• Ensure consistent execution of food quality, beverage quality, cleanliness, safety, and hospitality standards.
• Maintain and enforce operational procedures and SOPs.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, health department regulations, labor laws, and OLCC requirements.
