Job summary

Fourteen Foods Career Center in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to deliver quality customer service and food products consistent with Fourteen Foods and International Dairy Queen standards. You will assist with restaurant management responsibilities and develop leadership skills.

The role requires 2+ years in a food-service management position, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in restaurant management or similar role.
• Must be 18+ years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Background and motor vehicle checks will be performed.
• Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification where required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong English communication skills are required.

Position Overview:

TheRestaurantAssistant Managerprovides quality customer service and food products using standards set by Fourteen Foods and International Dairy Queen to enhance the customer’s visit, while assisting with and learning restaurant management responsibilities.

Assistant Manager Qualifications:

• 2+ years previous experience as a restaurant Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar food service management role.


• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.


• Must be 18 years of age or older.


• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.


• Must have reliable transportation.


• Must successfully pass a background check and motor vehicle record check.


• Possession of Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification (where required).


• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
