Job summary

Subway Lakeville is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead daily restaurant operations. You will focus on guest experience, food quality, safety, and cleanliness while supervising a small team and managing inventory.

You’ll assist with scheduling, training, and event planning, and work to ensure a smooth shift change, strong customer service, and timely promotions execution. This role offers full- and part-time hours in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in restaurant operation, supervisory preferred.
• Excellent communication and basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent Guest experience.
• Ensure food is prepared and served to standard.

As part of the Subway® Team, you as an Assistant Manager will focus on seven main things:

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work


• Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful


• Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
