Job summary

Massage Envy Hattiesburg is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a team and drive excellent member experiences at our Hattiesburg clinic in Mississippi. You will oversee daily operations, manage staff and therapists, and ensure sales targets are met while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Qualified candidates bring leadership, sales experience, and the ability to inspire a service-focused team. A competitive pay package with bonuses and a flexible schedule is included.

Qualifications

• Management or sales experience in a personal service environment such as a spa, salon, or gym.
• Spa, salon, or gym background is a plus.
• Massage industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lead and coach a team.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strive for continuous growth by setting goals and analyzing performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the clinic.
• Achieve all membership and retail sales goals; manage sales associates and massage therapy staff.
• Train and monitor the performance of sales associates; create and maintain staff and therapist work schedules.
• Answer phone calls, set appointments, greet members and guests, and sell memberships.
• Maintain a professional and impeccable clinic environment for employees and guests.
• Generate sales reports, payroll, bank deposits, inventory, and ordering supplies.
• Liaise with sales/marketing; sales experience in service/retail is helpful.
• Communicate expectations to staff and report up to Clinic Administrator.
• Motivate and train team members to improve performance.

Massage Envy is looking to hire an Assistant General Manager

• Overseeing and managing the daily operations of the clinic.
• Achieving all membership and retail sales goals. Managing sales associates and massage therapy staff.
• Training and monitoring the performance of sales associates. Creating and maintaining staff and therapist work schedules.
• Providing excellent service to members/ guests by answering phone calls, setting appointments, greeting members/ guests upon arrival and selling memberships.
• Maintaining professional and impeccable clinic environment for employees and members/ guests.
• Generating sales reports, payroll, bank deposits, maintaining inventory and ordering supplies.
• Management, sales and/or marketing helpful. Sales experience in service/retail industry.
• Ability to effectively communicate expectations to staff and create winning a team. Able to communicate up-line information to Clinic Administrator.
• Competent trainer and motivator.

Qualified Candidates:

• Have management and/or sales experience, preferably in a personal service environment such as a spa, salon, or gym. Massage industry experience is a PLUS but not required
