Job summary

Subway is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a small team, ensure guest satisfaction, prepare and serve quality food, and keep the restaurant clean and safe. You will manage inventory, scheduling, and training to support daily operations.

This role requires strong communication, supervisory experience in a restaurant, and reliable hands-on participation in daily tasks. Training is provided, and shifts vary by location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

As part of the Subway® Team, you as an Assistant Manager will focus on seven main things:

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work
• Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful
• Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.
