Job summary

Subway is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations in Essex Junction, VT. You will ensure guest satisfaction, oversee food quality, cleanliness, safety, and inventory, and supervise a small team across shifts.

You will assist with event planning, promotions, and staff training, while maintaining standards and delivering superior customer service. This role offers full-time hours with varied day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with ability to deal with all levels of team members.
• Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Computer knowledge is desirable, including familiarity with POS systems.

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
