Job summary

Subway is hiring an Assistant Manager in Amarillo, TX to oversee daily restaurant operations. You will focus on guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, inventory control and staff supervision, while supporting the team to deliver great service.

The role requires strong communication, dependability, and the ability to plan shifts, assist with events, orders, and training. Full-time and part-time shifts vary by location, with opportunities for growth within the Subway team.

As part of the Subway® Team, you as an Assistant Manager will focus on seven main things:

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
