Job summary

The AM mentors Shift Coordinators and Team Members, directs operations to ensure accurate product preparation and prompt delivery within speed standards, and steps in for the Shift Coordinator when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, management preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management to influence profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead profitability and inventory management for the restaurant.
• Coach and develop Shift Coordinators and Team Members to improve performance.
• Direct daily operations ensuring fast, friendly service and accuracy.
• Monitor cash control and security procedures, including cash handling.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and operational policies.
• Perform duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary.

POSITION OVERVIEW:The Assistant Manager (AM) is the operations leader of the restaurant focused on profitability, Guest service, people development and operations management. The AM supports the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) in managing the daily operations of a single restaurant, driving key performance outcomes.
