Job summary

Slick City Action Park in Arlington, Texas is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to help deliver an outstanding guest experience and grow the park brand.

You will open/close, lead staff, ensure safety, and mentor team members while keeping operations running smoothly. This part-time position offers flexible schedules, weekend/night shifts, and perks such as free park admission.

Qualifications

High School Diploma; some college preferred.
Supervisor level experience.
Proven conflict management skills.
Clear and effective communication with customers and team.
Ability to work nights and weekends.
Relates well to customers of all ages.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Weekend availability required.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Willing to learn, cheerful, with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Open and close the facility on specified weekdays and weekends.
Promote a positive and uplifting culture throughout the park.
Monitor maintenance and inventory of the facility and equipment.
Maintain a healthy and safe environment for guests and staff alike.
Train new team members and supervise current team members for service excellence.
Maintain image of competence and professionalism to guests and management.
Handle team member relations, questions, disciplinary actions, recognition.
Work under the GM's supervision with assigned priorities.
Collaborate with other management team members.
Perform other duties as required by Management.

Summary

If you love staying active and are usually smiling, come be part of Slick City. The Assistant Manager helps us create and maintain a showcase park giving the best customer experience. The Assistant Manager will have an opportunity to help growth within the park while managing brand awareness to community members. The Assistant Manager will help to grow the next generation of team members through leadership and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

Open and close the facility on specified weekdays and weekends
Promote a positive and uplifting culture throughout the park
Monitor proper maintenance and inventory of the facility and equipment
Maintain a healthy and safe environment for guests and team members alike by adhering to safety and sanitation standards
Train new team members and supervise current team members to consistently provide exemplary service and achieve operational excellence
Maintain an image of competence and professionalism to guests, team members, and management.
Maintain proper team member/employer relations and address any questions promptly, including disciplinary actions, recognition, and performance.
Work under the direct supervision of the GM, who will indicate general assignments, limitations, and priorities.
Work as a team with other management team members
Perform any other services or duties as required by Management

Qualifications
