Job summary

Billingsley is seeking an Assistant Make Ready Manager to drive unit turns, QC inspections, and hands-on maintenance. You will partner with the Senior Make Ready Manager to ensure on-time, high-quality turnovers across three core areas: inspections, team coaching, and hands-on make-ready work.

The role requires strong leadership, safety adherence, and equipment proficiency, with flexibility to cover for absences and peak turns. Some travel between communities may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; EPA Section 608 certification required.
• Three to five years of multifamily property maintenance; 1–2 years in lead/supervisory role.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; able to coach and train technicians.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control inspections and finalize unit readiness with vendors.
• Lead and coach Make Ready Technicians; support staffing decisions.
• Oversee make-ready workflows, inspections, and punch list resolution.
• Maintain shop and inventory; coordinate purchase orders and vendor schedules.
• Perform maintenance tasks across the make-ready spectrum and ensure safety.
