Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor in Mesquite, TX to oversee daily maintenance operations and ensure property compliance with company standards and regulations. The role supports the maintenance supervisor and property manager and mentors the maintenance team.

Responsibilities include repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds, plus preventative maintenance, safety adherence, and timely work-order completion to uphold curb appeal and

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to use general office equipment (telephone, fax, printer, copier, key track).
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs (electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, HVAC, grounds).
• Carry out carpentry tasks (wallboard, cabinets, doors, tile).
• Conduct preventative maintenance (siding, painting, lighting, pools, elevators).
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Conduct safety inspections and monitor on-call/emergency response.
