Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance to support the maintenance supervisor and help preserve the property’s physical integrity. The role emphasizes safety and adherence to Valiant Residential policies while enabling leasing growth through timely upkeep.

Qualifications

• At least two years of full-time apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certs are a plus.
• EPA refrigerant certification (EPA 608) required; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours when possible.
• Schedule and assist with on-call rotations and standby emergencies.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with ADA, Fair Housing, OSHA, and company policies.
• Keep accurate preventive maintenance and make-ready records for apartments.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and related systems.
