Job summary

AION Management LLC is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager for Pointe at Northern Woods in Columbus to support the Service Manager in daily maintenance and service operations at the property level.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, work order management, life-safety compliance, and supervising maintenance staff to ensure service quality, efficiency, and resident satisfaction while protecting assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).
• 3+ years of maintenance or facilities experience, preferably in multifamily or property management.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily maintenance operations for residential units, common areas, and building systems.
• Respond to and help coordinate service requests, unit turns, and emergency repairs.
• Perform hands-on maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs as needed.
• Help ensure accurate scheduling, documentation and timely close-out of service requests, unit turns and inspections.
