Job summary

Pointe at Northern Woods in Columbus is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the Service Manager in overseeing daily maintenance and service operations at the property level. This role assists with preventative maintenance execution, work order management, and supervision of maintenance staff to maintain high service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 3+ years maintenance or facilities experience, preferably in multifamily or property management.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety systems.
• EPA Universal Certification required; CPO/CAMT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily maintenance operations for residential units, common areas, and building systems
• Respond to and help coordinate service requests, unit turns, and emergency repairs
• Perform hands-on maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs as needed
• Help ensure accurate scheduling, documentation and timely close-out of service requests, unit turns and inspections
