Job summary

Bozzuto in Baltimore is seeking an Assistant Building Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair. You will manage make-ready and apartment turnover, ensure safety codes, and uphold the property's upkeep with a focus on resident satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years in trades or facilities, HVAC/EPA/NAPE certification, strong leadership, and the ability to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the trades, facilities and/or residential building maintenance.
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA and MSDS.
• Proficiency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical trades and appliance repair.
• Basic carpentry, drywall and painting skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading by example and being a role model for Bozzuto's standards and culture.
• Resolving maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Managing the make-ready and apartment turnover process with attention to detail and timeliness.
• Preserving the value of the building through preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintaining safety, cleanliness, and grounds upkeep; snow removal and general upkeep.
• Responding to emergencies and on-call rotation.
