CWS Apartment Homes is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Director to lead our maintenance team while handling hands-on tasks and delivering exceptional resident service.

You will oversee service requests, preventative maintenance, and make-ready projects, ensuring safety and quality across properties. Strong leadership and trades knowledge are essential for success in this role within a dynamic, resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• EPA, HVAC I & II, CPO and local certifications required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of full-time apartment maintenance experience with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
• Able to read service requests and schedules; communicate with team, residents, and vendors in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leading maintenance team.
• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Perform common area maintenance.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team members.
• Participate in the CWS Risk Management Program and Safety Programs.
