Job summary

Pratt Industries in Wapakoneta, OH is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator to support press operations. You will assist with setup, operation, cleanup, and suggesting improvements to keep production moving safely and efficiently.

You will monitor quality, follow instructions, and cross-train on additional machines. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus familiarity with measuring tools and production standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: experience in the corrugated industry.
• 6 months’ experience as a Flexo or Die-Cut Helper.
• 6 months’ experience in the Press and Finishing Departments.
• May be required to maintain a Lift Truck Operator License.

Responsibilities

• Set up slotting, feed, and die-cut sections on the machine.
• Assist the operator with other duties as needed.
• Monitor board quality and report issues to the operator.
• Cross-train on other machines as necessary.
• Submit maintenance work orders and follow the production schedule.
