Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator for the 3rd shift at the Wapak Corrugator facility in Wapakoneta, OH. You will support machine operators with setup, operation, cleanup, and improvement recommendations to keep production efficient.

The role offers growth opportunities, on-site training, and a starting pay of $18.98 per hour plus shift differential, with potential increases in the first year based on performance and attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred corrugated industry experience.
• 6 months’ experience as a Flexo or DieCut Helper.
• 6 months’ experience in the Press and Finishing Departments.

Responsibilities

• Set up slotting, feed, and die-cut sections on the machine according to proper setup techniques.
• Assist the operator with other duties as needed.
• Monitor board quality and report issues to the operator.
• Work at the pace set by the machine operator.
• Cross-train on other machines as necessary.
• Move up the line toward operator roles when eligible.
• Submit maintenance work orders for repairs and upkeep.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping policies.
• Assist with production scheduling and report scheduling issues.
