Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking an Assistant Logistics Aftermarket Manager to oversee transportation, warehousing, Attended Donation Centers, and outlet/salvage operations. You will travel weekly to Attendant Donation Centers to ensure workflows meet service standards and safety expectations.

Lead staff across departments, enforce policies, and drive improvements in efficiency and cost management while maintaining equipment and safety compliance in a high-demand warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of leadership in trucking, warehousing, and Salvage Operations.
• Requires 3 years of leadership experience directly supervising other workers.
• Must possess knowledge of Department of Transportation rules and regulations.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance as required by the company policy.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse, outlet/salvage, and transportation/logistics operations and supervise staff.
• Oversee the flow of donated, purchased, and outlet/salvage merchandise between stores, centers, warehouses, outlets, and vendors.
• Hold staff accountable to goals, policies, and safety directions; take corrective actions when needed.
• Maintain and supervise maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
• Ensure transportation safety regulations are followed to minimize accidents and insurance costs.
• Improve financial viability and sustainability of logistics, warehouse, and salvage operations.
• Uphold standards for financial performance, quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Read and interpret financial and labor reports; act on salvage surveys and related data.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and optimize processes across locations.
• Assist in sourcing salvage and recycling opportunities within the agency territory.
• Interpret and enforce employer policies and safety regulations.
• Streamline transportation schedules to support all locations including pickups, deliveries, and waste handling.
• Identify ideas to improve logistics and salvage operations.
