Job summary
Montville Township Public Library seeks an innovative, collaborative leader for the role of Assistant Library Director/Head of Programs & Services, joining our leadership team in northern Morris County. Qualifications
- MLS or MLIS from an ALA-accredited institution.
- Ability to obtain New Jersey Professional Librarian Certification.
- Minimum of four years of post-MLS/MLIS professional experience, including demonstrated management or administrative experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and supervise staff.
- Lead Library's programs, community outreach, and collection development.
- Plan and manage large-scale cultural, educational, and family events.
- Lead marketing, public relations, communications, and community engagement.
- Collaborate with Director, Board, and township officials on strategic planning and implementation.
- Grant writing and fundraising support.
