Job summary

Sunny Glen Children’s Home in Brownsville, TX seeks an Assistant Lead Case Manager to oversee the case management department and ensure high-quality services for children in care. You will train new case managers, assign caseloads, monitor performance, and coordinate with ORR and licensing bodies to support reunification efforts and compliant care plans.

This role also requires strong leadership, trauma-informed practice, and flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field is required.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• 1 year’s case management experience required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred for communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and direct supervision of the case management department.
• Train new hires and deliver policy updates to case managers.
• Assist with caseload assignments and department scheduling.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in case management software.
• Coordinate with ORR, Licensing, and external providers to support reunification efforts.
