Job summary

Thunderdome Restaurant Group is hiring an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the kitchen operations across nine concepts, including Bakersfield, The Eagle, Krueger’s Tavern, SoHi, Maplewood, Pepp & Dolores, The Davidson, City Bird and Currito.

You will lead the back-of-house team, hire and train staff, schedule and develop team members, and ensure recipes and brand standards are followed. The role requires physical activity, manual dexterity and adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Commitment to high quality food and hospitality.
• Ability to train and develop staff and maintain standards.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with leading the back of the house team.
• Hiring, training, scheduling and developing all back of the house team members and holding them accountable to our highest standards.
• Execution of taste plate to ensure the highest quality of food product at all times.
• Monitor and ensure proper compliance of safety, sanitation and health standards.
• Implementation and management of all Thunderdome Restaurant Groups standards and expectations.

This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 50 pounds.
