Texas Roadhouse is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to assist the Kitchen Manager with overseeing daily Back of House operations, ordering, receiving, preparation, and presentation of food. The role focuses on leading through hands-on supervision, ensuring food safety, and maintaining inventory and kitchen standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and oversees the production of food
• Enforces compliance with employment policies in area of responsibility
• Monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours
• Manages through hands-on supervision of the restaurant including serving, hosting, cooking as needed
• Conducts line Taste and Temp checks
• Ensures proper handling, maintenance and storage of all items
• Manages inventory and tracks waste under Kitchen Manager direction
• Maintains cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment
• Ensures consistency in food and service to drive sales
• Practices safe food handling procedures
• Back of House employees follow established recipes and procedures
• Creates a safe environment and develops Back of House staff
• Maintains restaurant cleanliness and guest safety at all times
• Upholds restaurant culture and core values: passion, integrity, partnership, fun with purpose
