Job summary

PopStroke is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the Kitchen Manager in a fast-paced, pizza-focused kitchen in Orlando. You will uphold food quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction while leading a high-performing culinary team.

This role requires at least 3 years in a kitchen with 1 year in leadership, knowledge of pizza production, food safety, inventory, and the ability to train staff with urgency and energy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a high-volume kitchen.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Experience with pizza ovens and dough preparation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and inventory control.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop culinary staff.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operation of a high-volume, pizza-focused kitchen.
• Lead by example during service, coaching and supporting the culinary team.
• Oversee pizza production, dough handling, topping, baking, cutting, and presentation.
• Ensure menu items meet recipe specs, quality, and presentation standards.
• Monitor ticket times and kitchen workflow for timely, high-quality food.
