Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the Kitchen Manager in daily back-of-house operations. You will help with ordering, receiving, preparation, and timely presentation of food while ensuring quality and safety.

The role requires at least 2 years in AKM or BOH, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Word and Excel. A positive, fast-paced team member will thrive in our kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years in AKM or BOH key role.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversees production of food in collaboration with KM.
• Ensures adherence to employment policies within area of responsibility.
• Monitors tickets and pacing during peak hours.
• Provides hands-on supervision including serving, hosting, or cooking as needed.
• Conducts line taste and temperature checks.
• Ensures proper handling, storage, and maintenance of items.
• Manages inventory and tracks waste as directed by KM.
• Maintains cleanliness and equipment upkeep.
• Ensures consistency in food and service to drive sales.
• Upholds safe food handling procedures and recipe adherence.
• Contributes to developing BOH staff and a safe work environment.
