Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the Kitchen Manager in daily back-of-house operations. The role requires focus on Legendary Food and Legendary Service while maintaining a safe, efficient kitchen environment.

The AKM will assist with ordering, receiving, preparation, and presentation of food, ensuring adherence to recipes, food safety, and quality controls to drive consistency and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or GED.
• Experience: 2 years or more as an AKM or BOH key employee.
• Computer Skills: Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversees production of food in coordination with KM.
• Enforces employment policies within area of responsibility.
• Monitors tickets and pace during peak hours.
