As a Assistant Kitchen manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Executive Chef/Owner in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Duties

• Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and staff supervision.
• Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency.
• Inventory
• Cooking on the line
• Maintain inventory control by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and knowledge.
• Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
• Participate in catering events and banquet services as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment.
