MoDOT seeks an assistant human resources director to lead and supervise HR functions related to employment, compensation, and employee development under general supervision.

You will plan and direct the HR Division, prepare business plans for projects, and advise management on policy interpretation and disciplinary matters. The role includes developing performance measures and aligning HR activities with strategic goals.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in HR/Personnel Management or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Provides planning and direction for the functions within the Human Resources Division (compensation, employment, employee development, training, employee assessment, and human resource services).
• Prepares the division business and work plans to ensure accomplishment of projects.
• Advises and counsels HR managers and department management regarding disciplinary measures, policy interpretation and application, and other HR issues.
• Develops and oversees division performance measures and department performance measures related to HR; coordinates ongoing analysis to align activities with strategic objectives.
• Assists HR director in development and administration of HR policies, policy changes, and new initiatives.

Educación

Bachelor's Degree: Human Resources/Personnel Management or related field
