Job summary

MoDOT seeks a Human Resources Intern to perform routine entry-level activities, researching and developing recommendations on HR programs under supervision. The role provides advisory support in standard HR tasks and helps ensure policy compliance.

Responsibilities include recruiting support, information on policies, possible job analyses, data collection for HR programs, and assisting with orientation and compliance training. This internship is contingent on prior intern experience.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s or post-bachelor’s degree program.
• Must possess and maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
• Must have completed at least 30 credit hours.

Responsibilities

• Recruits and pre-screens applicants and supports interviews.
• Provides information on policies and guidelines; assists with personnel processes.
• May conduct job analyses and prepare job descriptions.
• Collects and summarizes data related to HR programs and policies.
• Compiles data for monitoring equal employment opportunity and affirmative action.
• Assists with compliance training and employee orientation.
• Performs other duties as required.
