Job summary

AMB Sports & Entertainment is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Lead to support the day‑to‑day operations of the housekeeping department across guest cabins, lodge areas, and public spaces. You will work closely with the Housekeeping Lead to maintain high cleanliness standards and provide hands‑on guidance in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience required; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Housekeeping Lead with day‑to‑day direction and coordination of staff.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping activities to maintain guest rooms, cabins, lodge areas, and public spaces.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and quality standards.
• Assist with scheduling and coverage, including weekends and holidays.
• Help train new housekeeping team members on procedures, safety, and supplies.
• Monitor inventory and communicate needs to the Housekeeping Lead.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally, escalating when needed.
• Support safety and sanitation practices and report maintenance issues.
• Lead by example and provide hands‑on support during busy periods.
• Act as point of contact for the team when the Lead is unavailable.
