Qualifications

• Standard high school diploma or GED.
• Three (3) years of industrial, commercial, or educational facility experience.
• Ability to follow standard custodial practices.
• Ability to act as Head Custodian in absence.
• Knowledge of cleaning materials and equipment usage.
• Ability to climb and work from ladders.
• Capable of operating heavy duty floor scrubbing and rug shampooing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review work performed by Facilities Serviceperson and others.
• Instruct subordinates in proper use of supplies and safety procedures.
• Perform the duties of Facilities Serviceperson.
• Operate boilers, AC equipment, and power sources.
• Inspect the school perimeter and secure facilities.
• Report supplies needs and maintenance issues.
• Perform duties of Head Facilities Serviceperson during vacations.
