Planet Fitness in Des Moines, WA is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee gym operations and deliver a Judgement Free member experience while driving financial success. The role is full-time, with a schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays to support business needs.

You will lead front-desk activities, recruit and develop staff, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests while upholding Planet Fitness standards and CORE values.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Current CPR Certification preferred.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Confident problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club monthly and yearly targets.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests; ensure superior customer service.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager; assist in scheduling and supervising staff.
• Oversee front desk activities: greeting members, check-ins, and tours.
