Job summary

Sunland Village East Golf Club seeks an Assistant Golf Professional to work directly with our PGA General Manager in all aspects of the golf operation. Preference to be enrolled in the PGA-PGM Program and/or aspire to be a PGA Member.

The ideal candidate will handle tournament operations, tee sheet management, instructional activities, and staff mentoring while supporting day-to-day golf operations and merchandise coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience with tournament operations and rules of golf.
• Proficient with computer systems and POS software.
• Strong communication and staff management abilities.
• Ability to manage tee sheets and merchandise coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary service to members and guests of the Sunland Village East Golf Club.
• Provide quality instruction for our members and guests.
• Assist the General Manager in the management and execution of an extensive tournament schedule.
• Assist the General Manager with the day to day management of the golf operation.
• Assist the General Manager in the coordination of the merchandise operation, working closely with the merchandise coordinator.
• Assist in the training, supervision, and mentoring of all staff.
• Maintain playing ability while participating in Club events and joining member groups.
