Job summary

Jackson County Parks + Rec in Kansas City is seeking a Golf Course Supervisor to assist in supervising, planning and coordinating golf operations at Fred Arbanas Golf Course. You will help implement course policies and manage budget controls for the facility.

In the absence of the Golf Professional, you act as the Golf Professional and oversee the retail budget and purchasing. A PGA test and enrollment in the PGA Management program are required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Parks and Recreation Administration or related field.
• Must have completed the PGA playing ability test and enrolled in the Professional Golf Management Program prior to employment.
• Must submit to pre-employment background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising, planning, coordinating and implementing objectives, policies, programs and budget control for the Fred Arbanas Golf Course.
• Provide supervision in the absence of the Golf Professional.
