Job summary

The Jackson County Parks + Rec department is seeking a Supervisor for the Fred Arbanas Golf Course. This role supports supervising, planning, coordinating and implementing objectives, policies, programs and budget control for the course.

You will provide supervision in the absence of the Golf Professional and may act as Golf Professional when needed. The position includes budget responsibilities for the retail store and selecting and purchasing items.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Parks and Recreation Administration or related field.
• Must have completed PGA playing ability test and enrolled in the Professional Golf Management Program prior to employment.
• Must submit to/pass pre-employment background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising, planning, coordinating and implementing course objectives, policies, programs and budget control.
• Provide supervision in the absence of the Golf Professional.
• Act as Golf Professional in the absence of the Golf Professional.
• Manage budget for the retail store and select/purchase items for retail operations.
