Job summary

WindRiver seeks an Assistant Golf Professional to support the Director of Golf in daily operations, guest services, staff oversight, instruction, merchandising, and event coordination. The role focuses on a premier member and guest experience with professionalism and hospitality.

Responsibilities include supervising attendants, coordinating tee times, delivering lessons, and supporting tournament logistics to ensure smooth, organized golfing experiences for all players.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• PGA Membership or in progress preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid TN driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of golf operations in the absence of the Director of Golf, ensuring smooth day-to-day management and continuity of service.
• Supervise and manage Golf and Beverage Cart Attendants to maintain consistent service standards.
• Schedule, train, and support golf shop personnel and Cart Attendants for adequate staffing and performance.
• Manage staffing, tee times, guest flow, and coordination with maintenance and food & beverage teams.
• Oversee opening/closing routines, ensure security, readiness, and policy compliance.
• Deliver professional golf instruction and clinics, and assist in merchandising the Pro Shop.
• Coordinate golf tournaments and event logistics as directed by the Director of Golf.
