Job summary

The Lodge at Ventana Canyon Golf & Racquet Club in Tucson, AZ seeks an experienced Assistant Golf Professional to help oversee daily operations, sales, lessons, merchandise, and tee sheet management.

Responsibilities include assisting with training, planning events for member groups, managing POS and billing, and ensuring service standards, pace of play, and shop appearance; PGA member required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. PGA member/associate preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities with a focus on member service.
• Experience in golf operations and working with the public is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily golf operation management and customer service delivery.
• Support training of staff and event planning for member groups.
• Assist with lesson schedules, golf lessons, and teaching programs.
• Handle POS operations, sales and member billing with accuracy.
• Maintain shop appearance and assist with merchandise and inventory.
